What Quarter sheet does

Quarter sheet helps UK sole traders keep local income and expense records, group them into tax-year quarters and export those records. Version 1 does not connect to or submit updates to HMRC. It is not HMRC-recognised submission software.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for the accuracy, completeness and safekeeping of your records, choosing suitable categories, checking current filing dates, and submitting through HMRC-recognised software where required. Category references are organisational aids, not tax advice. Ask HMRC or a qualified tax professional when unsure.

Availability and backups

The free ledger is provided as available. Browser storage can be cleared by you, the browser or the device. Download encrypted backups and test your exported files before a deadline. We are not liable for loss caused by failing to keep an external backup.

Supporter unlock

The £19 supporter unlock is a one-time purchase for the listed cosmetic badge and backup nudges, and supports development. It does not include direct HMRC submission. Sociobot/Dodo is merchant of record and handles payment and refunds; a refunded or revoked license becomes inactive. Core record keeping, receipts, backups and exports remain free.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt the service, bypass license verification, or use it unlawfully. You may stop using the app and delete its site data at any time.

Changes

Tax rules and this product may change. Material term changes will be dated on this page. Existing records remain exportable through the free tools.
