Privacy notice

Your records stay in your browser

Quarter sheet stores transactions, notes and receipt files in your browser’s IndexedDB storage. We do not receive, view or sync this ledger data. Clearing site data can erase it, so make encrypted backups regularly.

Encrypted backups

Backup files are encrypted in your browser using AES-GCM with a key derived from your passphrase. They are downloaded directly to your device. We do not receive the file or passphrase and cannot recover either.

Supporter licenses

If you buy or restore a supporter unlock, checkout and license verification are handled by Sociobot’s billing API, with Dodo as merchant of record. The license token and a time-stamped verification result are stored in localStorage. Your ledger is never sent with a verification request. Network requests

The app uses no analytics, advertising, third-party fonts or tracking scripts. Once installed, the ledger works offline. A network request is made only when verifying a supporter license or fetching application updates.

Generated artwork

The drafting-desk illustration was generated for Quarter sheet using the factory’s image model. It contains no real person or customer data, and it does not make any network request when viewed.

Your choices

Use “Backup & restore” to take a portable encrypted copy. Use your browser’s site-data controls to delete local records. Because we do not hold ledger data, there is no server-side account to access or delete.
